The Blue Sea, Majestic Mountains, and Fresh Air Make This the Perfect Place to Cultivate your Sensibilities.
A Spacious Campus with a View of the Sea and Mountains
To the west is the deep blue Sea of Japan, and to the east is Mt. Hodatsu, the highest peak in the Noto region of Ishikawa. The spacious campus features beautiful natural surroundings, and is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. We aim to become a base for nursing education, research, and training, open to the local community.
Education & Research Building
The first and second floors are a learning and practical training zone, featuring state-of the-art lecture rooms, rooms for practical training and experiments, a computer lab, a language learning lab, and more, while the third and fourth floors are a research zone with features like seminar rooms and faculty laboratories.
Student Union Building
On the first floor are a cafeteria, kiosk, and lounge, and the second floor features club rooms and Japanese-style rooms. The cafeteria’s glass walls to the east and south make it a relaxing place full of natural light, and it features an outdoor terrace. The interior walls are made with diatomaceous earth from Ishikawa.
Library
There is a reading room on the first floor, and the second floor has sections dedicated to magazines and multimedia materials. There is also a collection of nightingales on display.
Auditorium
With 450 seats, the auditorium is suitable for various events, from ceremonies to concerts. It features a calm and cozy interior.
Sports Facilities
The campus boasts excellent sports facilities to the west of the Education and Reserch Building. Liven up your everyday life with sports and activities at our gymnasium equipped with a training gym, or at our three spacious tennis courts.
Administration Building
On the ground floor of the Administration Building are the offices in charge of managing and administrating the university, as well as the Community Care Center, which serves as a central contact point for opening up the university to the community. In addition to student counseling rooms and a nurse’s office, there are training rooms on the first floor, and the offices of the president and dean are on the second floor. The door decorations and room plaques are made with local Kutani ware and Wajima lacquer ware.
